The FAQ
HOW DO I BOOK A PORTRAIT SESSION?
After we confirm your day, time, and the location, I will email you my photo contract and invoice for you to sign and pay. I require full amount at the time of booking. I accept Venmo or Paypal.
CAN I BRING MY FUR BABY?
Yes! My family and I love including our pups in our photos since they are a part of our family. It’s best to bring an extra person on your shoot to hold the dog while he/she is not in the photos.
Can you help us with planning?
Yes! I will help pick the location if it's a full session and if it's a mini session I pick the location. I love to help choose your family's outfits as well!
How do we get our photos?
I will send you a gallery link with all of your edited photos. You can download all of your photos from that link. You can order professional prints and canvases directly from me or print wherever you choose.
What if it rains?
It’s impossible to truly anticipate the forecast until the day of. I will be in touch the morning of your session and we will decide together if we should reschedule. There is no rescheduling fee if there is heavy rain or lightning (does not apply to cold weather).
What's your turn around time?
During busy season (fall) I try to have sessions done in under two weeks, but sometimes I get backed up. A typical session (outside of fall) is done in around a week.
DO I HAVE RIGHTS TO THE PHOTOS?
Digital downloads and a print release for personal use is included in pricing. This print release gives you the right to print with any company. Sharing rights are also included to share on social media.
As the photographer, I hold the copyright for each photo I take. I am the only one who can sell the photos and use them for commercial advertising.
What gear do you use?
I use a Canon Mark III camera with a variety of lenses. My favorite lens for outside sessions is the 85mm
How long have you been doing this?
I have always loved taking photos. I got my first film camera when I graduated high school. I decided to dive in to learning about professional photography in 2011 and have been doing it ever since.
